Preferred Mutual Insurance Company Leadership Team held its conference in New Berlin, NY on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Supporting community is an important part of Preferred Mutual’s culture and having 47 members of the Leadership Team come from near and far to further advance the company’s commitment to improve the overall well-being of our community and of the people who live and work throughout the region was impactful to everyone. 

Culminating the conference, the Leadership Team “rolled up their sleeves” and provided hands-on assistance for several organizations that care for the environment, our seniors and children, and our troops. 

Preferred Mutual’s Leadership Team made a difference throughout the community by:

  • Adopt-A-Highway cleanup of a two-mile stretch of Route 8 in cooperation with the New York State Department of Transportation 
  • An Ice Cream Social coordinated through the Chenango County Area Agency on Aging for New Berlin seniors
  • Packing 3,000 dental kits for elementary students in Chenango and Delaware Counties for Chenango County United Way
  • Painting the Rotary Park Pavilion buildings in New Berlin
  • Packing 100 Freedom boxes for our troops for Blue Star Mothers of America
