Michael (Mike) DeHetre was recently appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Underwriting Officer for Preferred Mutual Insurance Company.

Mike joined Preferred Mutual Insurance Company in August 2022 to lead our Underwriting organization. His role expanded in early 2024 as he assumed responsibility for Sales & Distribution and Home Office Marketing. 

As a member of the Executive Team, he oversees the continued implementation of the company’s strategic plan, with focus on the strategic objective to Advance Small Commercial Business and Product.
