PMIC scholarship opportunities are available for students who live in Otsego, Delaware, or Chenango Counties in NY, graduating from Unadilla Valley Central School, or a child of a non-officer Preferred Mutual employee.

Since 1992, Preferred Mutual has provided scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to their community from Otsego, Delaware, and Chenango Counties. Preferred Mutual Insurance Company is proud to announce its 2024 scholarship recipients for:
  • Preferred Foundation Scholarship
  • Irad and Jan Ingraham / James Honeywell Memorial Scholarship

Preferred Foundation Scholarship Winner

Margaret Raffo of Cooperstown Jr/Sr High School
Margaret will study Environmental Science at Dartmouth University.

 


Preferred Foundation Scholarship Winner

Laken Dyn of Richfield Springs Central School
Laken will study Animal Science and Economics at Kansas State University.

 


The Irad and Jan Ingraham/James Honeywell Memorial Scholarship Winner

Kalie Fernandez-Naughton of Unadilla Valley Central School
Kalie will study History/Pre-Law at Marywood University.

Jaiden will study Exercise Science to pursuit Physical Therapy at SUNY Oneonta.
